Valentines Heart Cane

24 Feb.14 – These pieces were made from a hand made polymer clay heart cane. A polymer clay cane is a log of clay with a design that runs through the entire length of the clay log. As the log is reduced and stretched it gets longer also making the diameter and the design smaller. Each slice of the cane reveals an identical pattern or design. Canes can be stacked and combined to create a larger pattern or more complex design.
